Global Denver Website Goes Live

October 1st, marked the launch of Global Denver website, WWW.GLOBALDENVER.ORG.  Global Denver is a collaborative initiative that our office started three years ago with Denver's Office of Economic Development and the collaboration of many community partners. The project celebrates the international and ethnic communities of our region, while helping Metro Denver capitalize on its international connections and diversity as a means to improve our economy and quality of life.  We hope that you find this online portal to community resources, events, and organizations useful and informative.  If you have any questions or suggestions for content, please feel free to contact us at linkhartatlarge@denvergov.org.

Aging Matters

A year ago our office and Denver's Office on Aging created an Aging Task Force to address the needs of Denver's seniors. Our task force detailed opportunities for support and engagement as well as current and potential needs for the senior population in city agencies and the community at large. We are pleased to announce that those recommendations are now being implemented through a newly created Age Matters Initiative currently underway at the City.  For more information contact our office or Anthony Aragon, Director of the Office on Aging at 720-913-8462, or visit www.denvergov.org/Aging/AgeMattersInitiative
